Outreach Rescue has for sixteen years operated a range of incident response and rescue programmes. They are operated in conjunction with the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh and the Centre for Disaster Management, Coventry University. Clients include numerous organisations, emergency services, universities and colleges; our partnership with Coventry University Centre for Disaster Management has approximately 120 students on Disaster Response degree programmes. We have both national and international clients. Outreach staff are drawn from a variety of rescue and technical backgrounds. All operate at the very highest levels of expertise and have been involved in practice, training and assessing for many years. We also have close co-operation arrangements with key rescue service personnel and their organisations to provide ongoing development and delivery of specific training programmes. We are independent of any equipment manufacturer and our selection of equipment is drawn from numerous sources. We are able to advise on its suitability and application with the benefits being passed on to our clients. We have field tested and aided the development of numerous items of rescue equipment, sourced from many different manufacturers. In collaboration with the Fire Service College we have recently completed the major phase of delivery of Safe Working at Height and the Line Access and Casualty Extrication courses for CLG within the New Dimension programme. Outreach has provided Rescue training for over forty Fire, Police or Ambulance authorities.
