Outreach Rescue has a robust audit and quality process – annual checks from accreditation and approving bodies ensure standards are kept at the highest level.
City and Guilds
The City and Guilds of London Institute is an educational organisation in the United Kingdom. Founded on 11 November 1878 by the City of London to develop a national system of technical education, The City and Guilds of London Institute is the awarding body for City & Guilds and ILM qualifications, offering a large number of accredited qualifications mapped onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework. Outreach Rescue provides City and Guilds courses.
British Safety Council
Outreach is a member of the British Safety Council which demonstrates our commitment to maintaining Health and Safety Standards in all the work we do. Our record in this is second to none in our Industry and we will continue to work hard to ensure it remains so.
Coventry University
Outreach have delivered Undergraduate Field Skills programmes for Coventry University Disasterstudies Degrees since 1995. In addition, our Specialist Rescue Certificates and Diplomas developed in conjunction with the university, provide higher education recognition to the work of the emergency responder.
Sea Training International
Outreach have worked closely with Sea Training International for over 10 years for the delivery of our Powered Boat for Rescue Response programme and associated continuation and refresher training.
CITB
CITB is the Industry Training Board for the construction industry and a partner in ConstructionSkills, the Sector Skills Council

Qualsafe
Qualsafe Awards is one of the largest Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisations in the UK. Ofqual is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England.
IOSH
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is a leading professional body for people responsible for safety and health in the workplace. Outreach Rescue is a member of IOSH.
WAHSA
The Work at height safety association is the UK lead body of manufacturers, assemblers, installers, distributors, end users and training organisations involved in personal protection equipment used for work at height. WAHSA has produced Technical Guidance notes to assist specifiers, managers and end users of fall protection equipment. These TGNs are a free resource.
Outreach Rescue is a member of WAHSA and a contributor to the TGN’s.
JOSCAR
JOSCAR is a supplier qualification and compliance process. QinetiQ (QinetiQ is a British multinational defense technology company headquartered in Farnborough, Hampshire. It is the world's 52nd-largest defense contractor measured by 2011 defense revenues, and the sixth-largest based in the UK) have introduced a new supplier qualification and compliance process that new and existing suppliers to QinetiQ will be required to complete.
The system, JOSCAR, has been created to help prime contractors in the defense, aerospace and security sector demonstrate their suppliers are ‘fit for business’, not only in the defense, aerospace, security and space sectors but also other sectors their members may be operating in.
IOS9001
ISO 9001 is a quality management systems standard that is designed to help organisations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service. Outreach Rescue conforms to this standard and is annually audited by SATRA to this quality management system standard.
