High Level Rope Rescue for Industrial Rescue Teams

This course is suitable for anyone who has responsibility for the rescue and recovery of people working at height beyond the capabilities of simple rescue recovery packs.

Course content

Candidates will develop practical skills and theoretical understanding in a range of areas:

• Awareness of rescue equipment
• Equipment care and maintenance
• Rope Rescue system hazards
• Health & Safety requirements
• Safe application of rescue systems
• Practical application of rescue systems in industrial environments

Entry Requirements

Physically fit for this type of work, 18 years or over. Existing safe work at height training and experience.
 

Course Duration

3 days
 

Assessment/Qualification

Assesments to take the form of practical exercises.
 

Certification

Certification is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
