This course aims to address the need for improved casualty management from the point of contact to handing over to specialist medical care.
Casualty management in specialist rescue environments places heavy demands on the rescue team. Access and egress issues are compounded by having to handle a patient who may be very ill and require a high level of care. This course will allow you to build on your first aid experience and gain an understanding of the issues in trying to apply casualty management in a range of specialist rescue environments including water, restricted space and at height. Successful candidates will be awarded the First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3, valid for 3 years.
The FREC Level 3 course notes are considered as essential reading for successful completion of the course, and will be provided to you.
