FIRST RESPONSE EMERGENCY CARE (FREC LEVEL 3)

several levels of FREC awards are available, independently, for those who do not require the technical and practical elements of the Casualty Management in Specialist Rescue course. 

The courses have been designed to equip learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to help others. This qualification has been developed by the NHS Ambulance Services and is clinically endorsed by the Faculty of Pre-hospital care. Certificates are valid for 3 years.

This programme is designed to develop First Aiders to provide the next level of medical care and to be able to respond effectively to emergency situations.  Courses include theoretical and practical exercises with the emphasis on effective problem recognition and response.
