Basic Safe Work at Height
This course is suitable for anyone who is involved in, or affected by, work at height activities.
Course content
Candidates will develop practical skills and theoretical understanding in a range of areas:
- Relevant legislation and good practice guidance
- Hazards and risks
- Work and Rescue planning
- Attachments, anchors and loadings
- Risk assessments, safe systems of work
- PPE selection, fitting and application
- Equipment inspection

Physically fit for this type of work.
Course Duration
1 day (8 hours)
Assessment/Qualification
Assessments will take the form of a practical test and a short multiple choice exam.
Certification
Certification is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
