SAFE WORK AT HEIGHT - BASIC RESCUE
Basic Safe Work at Height Rescue
(use of pre rigged vertical rescue kit)
This course is suitable for anyone who Supervises persons involved in, or affected by, work at height activities.
Course content
Candidates will develop practical skills and theoretical understanding in a range of areas:
- Rescue planning
- Use of rescue kit
- Basic casualty handling
- Relevant legislation and good practice guidance
- Hazards and risks
- Use of attachments, anchors and loadings
- Risk assessments, safe systems of work
- PPE selection and application
- Equipment inspection

Basic safe work at height and physically fit for this training.

1 day (8 hours)
Assessment/Qualification
Assessments will take the form of a practical test and a short multiple choice exam
Certification
Certification is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
