To equip personnel with the knowledge and skills to inspect a broad variety of PPE, make an informed judgment of it’s condition and record findings.
Any personnel required to inspect a broad range of PPE relating to work at height, including: Textiles (harnesses, lanyards, slings, rope, energy absorbers), Hardware (connectors, devices, pulleys, wire strops) and helmets. Delegates can choose the categories relevant to their workplace or do all categories.
Develops essential skills in PPE inspection, damage identification, and safety assessment.
Covers legal and regulatory compliance for PPE in work at height applications.
Hands-on training with extensive practical examination of diverse PPE items.

Delegates should be familiar users of the types of items they choose to be assessed in inspecting.
Age 18+ . This course requires discipline and diligence in order to follow the systematic processes introduced for equipment inspection.
Recertification is recommended every 2 years by means of re-attending this 1 day course.

This is a 1-day top-up course for qualified Medium-Risk entrants (qualified through Outreach Rescue) who wish to expand their skillset to include working as an entry controller.
