WELCOMING ANDY YATES TO CRESTO ALLIANCE

NEW CHAPTER: ANDY YATES JOINS CRESTO ALLIANCE

We are delighted to welcome a familiar face as the newest member of our Cresto Alliance team, Andy Yates, stepping into the crucial role of Technical Account Manager. His arrival comes at a crucial juncture for our UK operations, with big changes on the horizon for Safety Technology, Outreach Rescue, ORMS, and Abtech Safety.

With the impending merger of Safety Technology and Abtech Safety slated for April 2024, and the coming together of Outreach Rescue and ORMS in October this year, Cresto Alliance is set to become a formidable powerhouse in the safety and rescue domain.

Andy Yates served in the Royal Marines and as a retained Fire Fighter in South Wales. He has extensive knowledge in rescue and safety training from his years as an instructor at Outreach Rescue where he trained our emergency services clients. He has an impeccable track record in customer service. Andy will be instrumental in streamlining our operations and boosting our capacity to provide holistic safety solutions.

Andy Yates, Technical Account Manager

In this spotlight article, we introduce Andy and shine a light on his anticipated contributions to Cresto Alliance's exciting new chapter.

Building Strong Customer Bonds: The Technical Account Manager Role

Andy Yates, in his capacity as Technical Account Manager, will devote his energies to forging robust customer relationships. Going beyond traditional client servicing methods, he plans on personal engagement with customers to ensure their requirements are met effectively.

“It's priceless to go out and actually show people what that kit and equipment does as well. That's going to be a key part of my role. Give people a little bit more technical knowledge and find out what they might require and meet their needs,” says Andy.

His expansive technical knowledge will help him present our state-of-the-art equipment, illustrate its functionality, and provide invaluable insights into its application. By offering face-to-face demonstrations, he aims to elevate the customer experience and consolidate our partnerships.

Introducing GWO Sea Survival Training

Andy's expertise will soon extend to the offshore wind industry. Safety Technology is a UK leader in certifying wind turbine engineers to Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards. Soon Safety Technology will introduce Sea Survival Training at a fantastic venue in Cardiff Wales. This move will fulfil a need for GWO Offshore Training in Wales and Southern England, areas currently lacking approved training providers.

As part of our restructuring plans, all current Safety Technology training, including GWO, will merge with Outreach Rescue in April. Both training centres in Clytha, Monmouthshire and near Bangor, Snowdonia will continue to operate as usual, providing a range of safety, specialist rescue and medical rescue courses.

The Power of Collaboration in Cresto Alliance

A major benefit of these mergers is the synergy it brings within our companies. Andy strongly advocates for industry collaboration and knowledge-sharing, and his dedication will facilitate continuous improvement and unparalleled service in our business.

Welcome back and Looking Forward with Enthusiasm

Andy Yates demonstrates his Rope Rescue skills

Andy is eager to reconnect with old colleagues and customers from his three-year tenure at Outreach Rescue and is equally excited about forging new connections within the Cresto Alliance network.

As a former Outreach Rescue trainer, Andy has delivered a wide range of courses, including Swift Water Rescue, Casualty Management, Safe Working At Height, Rope Rescue, and Confined Space Rescue.

His enthusiasm for sharing expertise and learning from others resonates with our commitment to ongoing growth and improvement.

Cresto Alliance Restructure plans

As we extend a warm welcome to Andy Yates in his new role, Cresto Alliance is also revealing strategic plans for restructuring the business.

  • With the merger of Safety Technology and Abtech Safety in April, for the manufacture and supply of equipment, we will continue to offer unrivalled safety solutions.

  • From April 2024, Safety Technology training will merge with Outreach Rescue. This merger will expand the number and type of courses offered by the training centre in Clytha, Monmouthshire, South Wales.

Our dedication to delivering premium service, training, and support to our customers remains unchanged. United, we are primed for an even brighter future, leading the industry in rescue, safety, and training solutions.
