During the course, you'll work closely with experienced paramedics who possess in-depth knowledge of the unique challenges faced in prehospital care. Our small group skills sessions allow hands-on experience with proven airway devices, enabling you to perfect your technique and decision-making abilities. You'll also participate in Code Airway simulations using a range of high-quality simulators, replicating real-life scenarios and enhancing your proficiency.

The Difficult Airway Course (EMS) covers an extensive range of topics to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Some of the key sessions include:

  • Human Factors and CRM in emergency airway management

  • Bag-mask ventilation mastery

  • Endotracheal Intubation masterclass

  • Video laryngoscopy and advanced imaging devices

  • Paediatric airway skills, including intubation

  • Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy and Airway Decontamination (SALAD) simulation

  • Cricothyroidotomy - Emergency Front of Neck Access (FONA) using Tissue Trainers
